ABOUT COLIN
Colin Miller is a lyric Tenor pursuing his Master of Music degree at The Shepherd School of Music at Rice University under the tutelage of Professor Nova Thomas. Colin completed his Bachelor of Music degree at the New England Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Professor Bradley Williams. In 2022, he was named a winner in the Colorado-Wyoming district of the Eric & Dominique Laffont Competition. His recent artistic appearances include several performances at the Shepherd School of Music as a part of their Lunchtime Concert Series where he performed excerpts from Mozart's Die Zauberflöte and Fidelio, as well as Strauss's Die Fledermaus. Other recent roles include Bill in Dove's Flight, Matt of the Mint in Weill's The ThreePenny Opera, the Gingerbread Witch in Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel, and covers of Oronte in Handel's Alcina, Peter Quint in Britten's the Turn of the Screw and Nemorino in Donizetti's L'Elisir d'Amore. This coming spring, he will perform the role of Leon in Corigliano's The Ghosts of Versailles.
